ABOUT Albano Design

Albano Design is a small Charlottesville-based company providing graphic design (including logos, branding and print materials), web design, web development, and photography.

Apprentices will learn tips about starting their own businesses, and gain experience with project acquisition and management, workflow, scheduling, and client relations. They will also hone their graphic design and web design/development skills and build a portfolio to help them gain future work.

Skillsets include: Pre-press file preparation · Logo design and branding · Print design, including postcards, brochures, business cards, letterheads, flyers, etc. · Web design · Web development · WordPress · Photo editing · Proposal writing

Prerequisites: Prior experience with graphic design and web development, portfolio of graphic design works required · Working knowledge of Adobe suite, PHP, & Java Script · Able to deal with clients personally and via emails in a professional and courteous manner
