ABOUT Gardenista

Gardenista is a fine gardening business that works closely with the client to develop and maintain their gardens beautifully and sustainably.

Apprentice will learn plant identification, the principles of garden design, ecologically sound garden maintenance, and the practical duties required to maintain gardens, including weeding, fertilization, plant choices, mulching, etc.

Skillsets include: Garden bed preparation · Weeding existing gardens · Selecting location-appropriate plants · Pruning · Developing garden designs · Renovating gardens and shrubs · Responsible garden maintenance practices · Building lasting client relationships

Prerequisites: Physically capable, able to lift 50lbs · Willingness to learn and able to work well with others · Prior knowledge of gardening considered a plus
