FAQ

Apprentice

Is there an age limit?

We accept applicants of all ages.

If an applicant is under 18, we ask for documented support from parents.

Who can be an apprentice?

Anyone who is interested in learning. Whether you are a high-school student exploring career options, a professional wanting to expand your skillsets, or a mid-career professional seeking to change your career path.

Some of our previous apprentices have included: A young woman with a desire to build her career as a veterinary surgeon apprenticed with a butcher to acquire knowledge of large animal anatomy. An Alaskan salmon fisherman began to develop new skills through a blacksmithing apprenticeship. A high school student expanded her artistic talents through a jewelry design apprenticeship.

Regardless of your age or background, Apprenticeship Connections provides the means to a beginning.
